Get Ready for the Solar Eclipse with a Paper Circuit Workshop!
On April 8, 2024, people in our area and across North America will get to experience the wonder of a solar eclipse. In this workshop, kids and teens learn how an eclipse occurs, find out what to expect in the path of totality or just beyond, and then make their own light-up eclipse simulation.
Ages 6-9: Make a Light-up Corona that glows when you press the moon down in front of the sun.
Ages 10-14: Create a Moon Slider Switch to turn on the corona’s light show at the moment of totality.
Dates are limited — book your program now!
In or near Rochester, NY? I’ll be in town April 6-8 as part of the ROC the Eclipse festival at the Rochester Museum and Science.
