Learn to Make Light-Up Greeting Cards for Valentine's Day and Beyond!

Take handmade greeting cards to the next level by adding unexpected lights and switches! Feel free to bring your own art, ideas, and inspiration. We'll talk about different ways to build paper circuits and incorporate LEDs into the design. Participants receive enough supplies to make at least three cards, which gives you the chance to play around with different types of LEDs, switch and sensor configurations, and light-diffusing materials.  

Instructor Kathy Ceceri has created lessons, tutorials, and projects for organizations including the light-up paper products company Chibitronics. She also offers workshops at schools, libraries, and museums around the Northeast. Her latest book of hands-on STEAM activities for kids, teens, and adult beginners is Paper Inventions, 2nd Edition.
