In this intro to coding class, we'll be adding a BBC micro:bit mini-computer to a simple paper cup robot to make it move and draw at our command! We'll be using free, online Microsoft MakeCode to program the microprocessor. A laptop with a standard USB port is required. A Chrome or Edge browser is preferred. (You can test out the software in advance at makecode.com.) In addition to craft supplies, the materials fee includes a micro:bit starter kit, motor, and cables to take home -- they're reusable!
