An algorithm is a set of steps to follow to complete a task. A computer program is a type of algorithm. It tells the computer what to do depending on the situation.
A robot doesn’t need a big computer brain to carry out an algorithm. It can be built into the body (smart body) or use a primitive circuit. The smartest robots use A.I. — artificial intelligence.
A.I. lets the robot learn every time it carries out a program and improve as it goes along.
